This one actually pissed me off. Don’t apologize to me. I don’t deserve it. Trans people have never done anything to me. Any trans person who hates all cis people has a legitimate reason for doing so. They’re not being awful, they’re being defensive and cautious because the only thing cis people ever did to them was hurt them. I don’t care that some trans people may hate me just for being cis. I know their hatred is not personally my fault.
Here’s a comparison that sort of works: I’m Jewish. I hate Nazis. All they did was hurt my people. If I met a Nazi nowadays, I would hate them even if they said that they didn’t hate Jews (I know that’s kind of impossible, but let’s just pretend here).
